“Live in fragments no longer. Only connect, and the beast and the monk, robbed of the isolation that is life to either, will die.”
E.M. Forster (1879 - 1970)

Purpose Dream Team Exercise
As no human is an island, the first step of taking your purpose out into the world is to enroll and build your Purpose Dream Team. In this exercise you’ll form a group of high-accountability people whom you respect and trust, who will help you refine, express, and live your purpose in the world. But first, you have to pick the folks you want on your Purpose Dream Team.
Ideally, your team will be comprised of people who are already living purposefully. Ask yourself: Who in my life is on-fire with purpose? Odds are you know at least one or two people who are living truthfully and in alignment. Also consider people who love or care for you, but are not attached to what your purpose looks like, or how your purpose takes shape. Look for people who support you unconditionally in living a full, happy, healthy, and abundant life.
Sometimes those closest to you, like your parents, siblings, and partner, may not be the best choices for your Purpose Dream Team. Although they love and support you in many ways, they can often have an attachment to what your purpose should look like: Specifically, income to be received from it or the time and money required to realize it.
In these early stages of your purpose-aligned life, you need to keep your purpose safe, by keeping the evolution of your purpose in a secure, protected environment. This means choosing Purpose Dream Team members who are accountable, encouraging, curious, accepting, and positive. Be sure to exclude anyone from your initial Purpose Dream Team who may be judgmental, negative, or resistant to you making changes in your life or in living your purpose fully.
In your journal, make a list of five people who you respect and trust, who support you unconditionally. After you select them, you’ll want to start exploring how they can play a role in your purpose project, by describing their current ability to listen to you. In what regard do they hold you? Next, list out their Qualities, Interests, Skills, and Networks:
Now that you have your team, you can breathe life into your purpose and purpose project by talking about your project to you Purpose Dream Team and asking them to play a role in the development of your project.
